Expansion of the Saluda Dog Park
Big tails are wagging in Saluda!
The Madame Phoebia Cheek Sullivan Memorial Park is overjoyed to share the exciting expansion of the Saluda Dog Park—a vibrant space where dogs, families, and nature come together in play, healing, and connection.

This heartwarming growth is made possible through partnership with the Saluda Community Land Trust, which has increased the park’s free-roaming space for our four-legged companions by nearly 300%! That’s more room to run, more space to explore, and more joy to go around—for pets and people alike.
Nestled on the sacred grounds at 199 Chestnut Street, Saluda, NC, the dog park is open to the public and welcomes all dogs in accordance with the Polk County Animal Control Ordinance.
We invite neighbors, dog lovers, and community members to celebrate this expansion—a testament to what’s possible when land, legacy, and love come together.
Come walk, wag, and be well.
